When we moved here eight months ago, we were told to put our emergency request in the portal. I have now found out through maintenance not the office that the portal only sends them an email . That I have to call the main number and select maintenance for an emergencyand then the phone call will go directly to one of the maintenance personnel directly on call. The portal is mainly for the office to keep track of maintenance requests. Nobody in the office had told me that. The office needs to have clearer instructions. Our air conditioning has gone out twice in the last three months in our unit. once I got a hold of maintenance, and spoke to them and on the phonethey came and fixed it the same day . Now I know what I need to do if it happens again.
